* As of this enrollment / re-enrollment season, all families will be required to submit to a comprehensive, national background check for each custodial parent after submitting the Enrollment  / Re-Enrollment Packet at a charge of $10.95 per person. If you are a current parent who has submitted a background check within the past 5 years (such as for athletics or overnight trip chaperones), this will be waived until your 5-year renewal date.

* Tuition is payable at the “Member” rate if at least one parent is an active member in good standing at Redeemer Presbyterian Church or one of its daughter churches; Hope, New Hope, Grace, Salem, Southside, or Yadkin Valley. If neither parent is an active member of these churches, then tuition is payable at the “Non-Member” rate.

Annual Tuition Payment Discount

An additional 2% discount is available for annual tuition payments. This discount is not available to families that receive financial aid (Tuition Assistance Grant, Bless The Community/Nations, Opportunity Scholarship, etc.). The school must receive the full payment by July 10th to qualify for this discount.

Payment Schedule and Late Fees

Tuition will be drafted through the family’s online account either the 1st  or 10th of each month, July – May (late fees do apply).

Financial Aid 

Redeemer School provides limited Tuition Assistance Grants for families based on financial need, without regard to race, color, national or ethnic origin. Financial Aid is awarded by Redeemer School, based on FACTS recommendations and available tuition assistance funds at the time of application. Tuition Assistance Grants awarded will be applied to tuition only, including READ and ROOTS tuition, if applicable.

Redeemer School also provides two scholarship funds: Bless the Community (BTC) scholarship and Bless the Nations (BTN) scholarship. The BTC scholarship provides financial aid for ethnic minority families, who also demonstrate financial need. The BTN scholarship provides financial aid for missionary families who are on furlough through an established missions agency and who demonstrate financial need.

Financial Aid applications for Tuition Assistance Grants, Bless the Community Scholarships, and Bless the Nations Scholarships are all processed online through the FACTS Grant & Aid Application. FACTS assists Redeemer School in determining a family’s financial need and the amount of financial assistance they may qualify for. 

FACTS Grant & Aid Applications are accessible through the enrollment application portal for new families, and through the FACTS Family Portal for current / returning families. The FACTS Grant & Aid Application includes a $35 application fee charged to the family. For questions about filling out the FACTS Grant & Aid application, please call FACTS Customer Service at 866.441.4637 (also available in Español).

Financial Aid applications must be completed by February 28th to be assured priority consideration. For new families enrolling after February 28th, Financial Aid applications may still be submitted within 10 days of an enrollment application being submitted. The school will notify families of a financial aid decision by the end of March or within 3 weeks of a completed application, whichever is later.  

Redeemer School also participates in the North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship program (NCOS) offered by the state.  Children entering Kindergarten or First Grade next year, or who are currently enrolled in a NC public school, may be eligible to receive a scholarship to help cover tuition and fees at private schools.  

See information about eligibility, requirements, and how to apply on the NCSEAA Opportunity Scholarship website(According to their website, Opportunity Scholarship applications do not become available until January 31st and must be completed by March 1st for priority consideration.) If your family is already enrolled in one of these programs, the renewal period begins Jan. 31st.

Please note: Redeemer School requires that families who apply for the Opportunity Scholarship also apply for Redeemer School Financial Aid through FACTS Grant & Aid. For families awarded an Opportunity Scholarship (NCOS), this scholarship takes precedence over any earlier awarded Redeemer School Financial Aid. The family’s Financial Aid application may also be re-evaluated for any additional Redeemer School Financial Aid upon request.
