Enrollment Process

For parents who have carefully examined and agree with the philosophy, goals, and policies of Redeemer School and desire the school to work with them in educating their child(ren), the following enrollment process should be followed:

  1. Complete and submit a Student Application (including pertinent student records), Doctrinal Statement, and pay a nonrefundable, nontransferable fee of $25.
  2. Request a Student Reference Form to be completed by the applicant’s current or most recent school. (This is necessary for First-Eighth Grade applicants only.)
  3. Schedule an academic/ developmental assessment for your incoming K-8 child with the school office (Kindergarten developmental assessments are scheduled to take place in March each year).  We provide immediate feedback to parents regarding the child’s academic/ developmental readiness for the grade for which they have applied. In situations where appropriate, further information may be requested before enrollment decisions are made. TK applicants will not be assessed but preschool information will be requested.
  4. Attend a parent interview with the Headmaster to discuss the partnership between Redeemer School and the family.  We will outline the school’s commitment to the family and review the parents’ expected commitment to the school. This will include discussion about the parents’ profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, the school’s philosophy of education, curriculum and instructional methods, and other school distinctives.
  5. Pay a nonrefundable, nontransferable registration fee of $100 per child upon acceptance.  This fee is normally due no later than 30 days after acceptance is offered.
  6. Sign a family and financial commitment statement and pay a nonrefundable, nontransferable activity fee of $250 per child.  The commitment statements and activity fee are normally due by May 1 for the following school year.
  7. If any step listed in the enrollment process is not completed in a timely or appropriate manner, the student spot that was offered may be revoked and given to the next person on the waiting list.
  8. The first month’s tuition is due by July 1 and is due monthly through May of the following year according to the financial commitment statement.
  9. Submit to the office a copy of your child’s birth certificate and immunization records at least one month before the starting date of school.  All immunizations must be current.
